EASY at Work: Service & Hospitality – the latest product in the EASY Series – focuses on the language and communication skills needs for workers in the service, hospitality and visitor-serving industries.
Key features:
- Correlated to CASAS for Beginner to High Intermediate ESL students
- Aligned to the National Retail Federation Skills' Standards
- Low (Lexile) Reading level
EASY at Work: Service & Hospitality teaches communication and cultural "know how" for job seekers, entry-level and even supervisory workers. The series develops key language skills used in a wide variety of Customer Service jobs.
EASY is not a phrase book for the service industry. Instead, EASY shows real-life examples of customer interaction, working as a team with one's peers, job improvement strategies, communication and interviewing skills and much, much more. A wide variety of service jobs are covered to build those specific vocabulary and phrase sets needed in today's workplace in order to provide competitive and consistent service and a safe working environment.
“EASY at Work is right at level for my high beginner and intermediate students. There’s great grammar review, and plenty of workplace vocabulary and phrases…The video lessons are varied, realistic and anticipate many of the jobs and situations our students will face.”
Richard Bourell, ESL Adult Education teacher at Blair High School in Pasadena, CA and author of IN ENGLISH.
